MY STORY

My name is Tomasz Drybala, and I am an Ultra-Endurance Athlete and Explorer with the drive to take action. I am an Identity and Courage Coach with the passion to help people improve their lives. I am a Keynote Speaker with the confidence to share knowledge and spread positivity. I believe, beyond any doubt, that I can be anyone, learn anything, achieve whatever I put my mind to, but it was not an easy journey.

Since 1997, when I opened my first company, I spend a good deal of time moving fast but failing to reach my destination.

From the outside perspective, I had nothing to complain about: I had a family, a home,

beautiful garden, nice cars, and took regular holidays. But deep down, I was unsatisfied. I was driving in the wrong direction, pushing myself too fast and too hard. And it got me to crash, hitting the ground with a thud.

By December 2015, I was deeply depressed. A series of life failures and traumatic experiences had me trapped by fear, low self-esteem, doubt, loss of direction, stress and frustration. My own thoughts convince me that everyone I knew was smarter and better than me. I felt like I don't know what I was doing anymore. I felt helpless.

On December 24th, 2015, I took a first available flight to Asia. The flight attendant instructs to put your oxygen mask on first, before assisting others, and then it hit me. It had to take action.

Sitting on the empty beach, on my own, far away from busy resorts and noize, with books, pen and blank pages in a new notebook - I decided to start living my life once again - but this time, the way I always wanted!

The time has come to approach difficult situations with an open and flexible mindset, ultimately and most importantly, being true to me and my deepest values. The goal was a healthier, wealthier, more fulfilling, passionate and purposeful life in the service of people.

Since then, I have spent time rebuilding myself.

NOW I DO WHAT

I LOVE, WITH PEOPLE I LOVE. I'M IN THE BEST SHAPE OF MY LIFE, AND ONLY GETTING BETTER.

WHEN I SAY 'YOU CAN HAVE IT' - I'M SPEAKING FROM EXPERIENCE, NOT JUST REPEATING A FANCY CATCHPHRASE.

MY JOURNEY TO SELF-VALUE

STEP ONE.

HABITS & PASSIONS

The 'Eight Islands' challenge was my first big step to change daily routines and habits. Challenging myself to this level helped me to realise what lifestyle best suits me and how to re-define my life purpose.

My life is based in London but my soul belongs to Asia. I spent nine extremely active weeks running, climbing, descending and cycling over eight islands. I convinced a few people to join me in those activities. Seeing physical pain on their faces and blooming happiness in their eyes, I got hooked up to my life purpose. To empower people to climb toward the best version of themselves, whoever they want to be in life.

STEP TWO.

LIFESTYLE & DIRECTIONS

The main goal during the 'Five Million Steps' challenge was to create the coaching program based on 23 years of my professional work experiences.

Through self-analysis, reflection, planning and action, I identified and understood what challenges I would face on the way. I wanted to elevate new skills, habits and natural-born strengths. I created a system of rewards, developed self-confidence, improved productivity, and learnt how to enjoy the most hard-working day.

Starting from 25,000 steps per day and increasing it to over 100,000 steps daily, it took me 101 days to complete my challenge. Resulting in a total of five million steps!

STEP THREE.

PURPOSE & PROFESSION

I believe in big dreams, and most importantly, I believe in people. I believe that each of us should have the same chance to build a life we are proud to live, regardless of our past experiences.

In August 2019, I started running 7,000 miles across Asia. Along the way, speaking at universities and conducting workshops with over 2,000 students and several businesses. I shared my discoveries, experiences and practices of my work.

Coronavirus challenged me to respond creatively to the circumstances, move all courses and workshops online, and continue running the remaining distance locally, divided into 268 half-marathons. I completed running 7,000 miles in August 2020
